Water Treatment Overview

Ozone:  Primary disinfectant used to achieve 3 log Giardia inactivation

Ultraviolet Light: Water disinfectant used to inactivate chemically resistant parasites such as Cryptosporidium

Chloramines: Chlorine and ammonia are combined to produce chloramines a long lasting disinfectant protecting water as it flows through the piping system.

Hydrofluorosilisic Acid: added for dental health

Soda Ash:  To raise the alkalinity and pH of the water to minimize lead and copper leaching from home plumbing
